Rafting on the river Salzach
in Salzburger Land

With a length of 225 km, the river Salzach is the longest and water-rich branch of the Inn. She flows through Salzburg and Bavaria (Germany) and is one of the great alpine rivers.
River rafting is a combination nature, experience and sport and it’s no wonder, that it’s one of most popular water sports in Austria. We are also lucky to be situated near a wonderful river such as the Salzach, that offers the best river rafting conditions.
Rafting on the wild water stretches of the Salzach provides a lot of fun and thrills and on the steadier parts of the river there’s enough time to enjoy the spectacular mountain sceneries.
We are lucky to be situated so close to the fun-rafting course. You can reach it in merely 30 minutes by car or coach from the centre of Salzburg.
Perfectly equipped with helmet, wetsuit, neoprene jacket, life vest, neoprene shoes and paddle, you’re all ready for an exciting wild water rafting excursion.
After getting dressed and equipped, we start with dry training and safety training by one of our certified rafting guides. We will teach you how to guide the dinghy safely through the water rapids and how to manoeuvre it perfectly. Lots of fun and action guaranteed!
No matter if it rains or if it’s sunny (you’ll get wet anyway ) – River Rafting on the Salzach is possible in any kind of weather.
Our rafting tours are also very well-suited for group outings and school excursions!
There are 2 different rafting tours to choose from:
- FUN-Rafting – Wild water level 1-2+. Perfect for beginners, families, company and school excursions.
- SPORT-Rafting – Wild water level 3-4 for all those, who are in need of a sporty challenge and who aren’t afraid of big splashes.
